After Earthquake Safe and unsafe Trekking Routes in Nepal

PUBLISHED: 07-06-2015
After a massive Earthquake on 25 April 2015 Nepal got hundreds of aftershocks. Some of the district which are closed to the epicenter have faced huge destroy. However the aftershocks are gradually decreasing and destruction caused by the earthquake is being calculated.

We are really unhappy by damage caused by this disaster in two major trekking routes of Nepal. Langtang and Manaslu trekking routes are completely destroyed. Two of those Langtang is most affected areas where 2-3 km avalanche has destroyed Chyamki, Thangsyap, Mundu and Ghodatabela area. In manaslu area mos of hotels are completely destroyed mostly in the Arughat Bazaar to Samagaun area which is very close area of Epicenter of first devastating earthquake. We recommended that not to choose Langtang and Manaslu trekking routes for this situation. Both of the areas are not safe for travelling. We have closed our booking for these treks. We recommended Annapurna Region, Everest Region and Mustang Region for your coming treks. We are resuming our regular schedule in Everest, Annapurna and mustang trekking areas. Booking are open for these non-affected trekking areas.

We also recommended Pokhara tour which is the heaven of Nepal. The city is completely safe from the earthquake. The next we refer, Lumbini the Birth Place of Lord Budda. Lumbini is the historical place as well. Also Chitwan is not affected by quake.

We are very unhappy and sadness by the destruction and would like to express deepest sympathis to the people affected by this disaster. Many people around the world are helping to Nepal at this situation. Many people, private Organizations and government sectors are donating moneys for the relief fund and rebuilding Nepal. These funds help Nepal recently need of victims. The temporary funds would lead people nowhere. To bounce back their lifestyle they need long term help. Most of affected people are involve in Tourism. As well tourism is one of the huge sector of economy of Nepal. So the most effective way to help and bounce back Nepal is to help the tourism.
