Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel, Overnight at Hotel Shangri-La Kathmandu.
    Welcome to Himalayan country of Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport, Global Holidays Adventure representative welcomes you and assists to transfer you at Shangri-La or same standard hotel. After time to get refreshed, evening you'll meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and briefing about your trip.
  • Day 02: Everest Helicopter sightseeing tour.
    Early morning you will transfer to airport and fly to Everest by helicopter. The flight to Kala Patthar (17192 ft/5242m) provides a panoramic vision of the mountains and the mesmerizing Gokyo Lakes. From Kala Patthar (17192 ft/5242m) we get the closest view of Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. The Kala Patthar plateau is also a historic site as the ‘World’s Highest Cabinet Meeting’ was organized by the Nepalese Government over here on 4th December 2009.

    After taking in the wonderful sights and capturing the scenes on our camera, we board the waiting chopper and fly towards Everest view hotel at Syngboche.. At 3800 m, Everest view hotel, is among the world's highest full service hotel. Perched high above the Khumbu valley on a spectacular and serene location, the hotel boasts of an unparalleled panoramic view of the principal peaks of the Khumbu including Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam and Lhotse. Enjoying these views we enjoy breakfast and celebrate the end of our memorable Everest journey. After breakfast we board the chopper and fly to Kathmandu and transer to Hotel.

  • Day 03: Kathmandu Sight Seeing Tour, Overnight at Hotel Shangri-La Kathmandu.
    Today after breakfast you will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered world heritage sites; including the, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' Swayambunath and Buddhists shrine of Bouddhanath which is one of the largest Stupas in the world.
  • Day 04: Fly Back to your Country.
    Global Holidays Adventure's representative will transfer you to Airport for you final departure.

One Day Everest Helicopter Tour

  • 7:00 AM : Get up and transfer to the domestic airport by private AC car.
  • 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM: After some legal process you will fly across to the Everest region. Visit to Kala Patthar (17192 ft/5242m) provides a panoramic vision of the mountains and the mesmerizing Gokyo Lakes. From Kala Patthar (17192 ft/5242m) we get the closest view of Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. The Kala Patthar plateau is also a historic site as the ‘World’s Highest Cabinet Meeting’ was organized by the Nepalese Government over here on 4th December 2009. Also we view the Khumbu glacier, Gokyo valley and fly over thousands of peaks and high mountain.

    After that we will fly towards Kongde where the world’s highest luxury resort “Yeti Mountain Home”, Kongde is located. At 4200 m (13,788 ft), Yeti Mountain Home, Kongde, is among the world's highest full service Hotels and Resorts. Perched high above the Khumbu valley on a spectacular and serene location, the resort boasts of an unparalleled panoramic view of the principal peaks of the Khumbu including Mt. Everest and Lhotse. After having breakfast at this resort then we fly back to Kathmandu.
  • 11:30 AM: After back from the mountain you will visit UNESCO world heritage site of Kathmandu Valley and drop to Hotel.

Q. What type of shape do I need to be in, is this trip for me ?
A. This trip is suitable for any kind of people from child to Old people. Not any pre- experience is necessary.


Q. Will somebody come to pick me up at the Airport upon my arrival ?
A. Yes, our Airport Representative will be there to greet you outside of Terminal Hall, he/she will be displaying an Global Holidays Adventure sign with your name on it. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.


Q. What sort of accommodation can I expect in this tour?

A. Here are so many different catagories hotel. Its up your demand. In our package ,We provide five star hotel accommodation for entire trip.


Q. What sort of food can I expect in the tour?
A. All the restaurants that we dine at cater for Continental, Chinese, Mexican, American based cuisine with some local influences, always plenty to choose from.


Q. What sort of transportation you use?
A. Depending on the group size we use Private cars, minibus, van, land cruiser. These small light vehicles are more maneuverable and flexible enabling us to take you through the Narrow roads of Nepal.


Q. What is the best season for this trip?
A. Any time in the year.


Q. What is the weather & temperature like?

A. It is all depending on what time of year you are traveling; during winter (Mid December to February), it gets colder at night and warmer during the day. The temperature could be as high as 22 deg C during day and 4 deg C low early in the morning and at night.

From March to May it is warm and sometimes a bit hot and weather stay perfect. The average temperature during this time of year is 25 deg C.


During the months of September to early December it is always warmer providing the perfect time to travel. The average temperature during this time of year is 20 deg C.

You will be in air-conditioned vehicles during the tour and all hotels are fully air conditioned.


Q. Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip ?

. There are telephones and internet facilities available so you can always stay in contract with your family.

ATM are available in Kathmandu and Pokhara, major credit cards are accepted in all places but you need to pay 4% extra as bank levy so cash is always recommend.


Q. How much additional money do I need per day ?
A. It all depends on your spending habits for Lunch, Dinner, Drink and Bar Expenses.


Q. Do I need to tip my guide and driver? How much would that be ?
A.
Tips are always expected, it is good to tip your tour staff at the end of tour.


Q. Is the water oK to drink? Do I need to bring purifying tablets/filter ?

Bottled water is available in all the places. Bottled water is safe for drinking. You don't need to carry any purifying tablets.


Q. What essential documents do I need to bring with me on tour ?

*Valid Passport – must be valid for up to 6 months after you return from your tour, keep a separate photocopy.

Q. Can I add extra days to my trip?
A. A holiday should never be about making it to the final point quickly. Along your tour we can add days at your request with additional costs to cover guides, Hotel and Transportation.


Q. What immunizations will I need ?
A. No vaccinations are compulsory in Himalaya, but we do recommend you are covered for *diphtheria & TB, hepatitis A, *hepatitis B, *malaria, typhoid, polio and tetanus.


We also recommend:

  • A dental check-up prior to travelling.
  • That you know your blood group in case of emergency.

That if you have any pre-existing medical conditions which might affect you on tour, you make these known to your tour leader and Global Holidays Adventure at the time of your booking.
