Along with Jaljala we will visit Tibetan Rufugee Camp in Dhorpatan Valley where since 500 years Tibetan Refugee are living there as a refugee on the Land of Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve.

    Arriving Kathmandu from your homeport, where Global Holidays Adventures representative meets you at the airport, transfer you to the hotel nearby Thamel as per your requirement. Great food from all over the world, fabulous shopping and Durbar square with its several temples and markets are nearby Thamel. Overnight at hotel with BB Plan.
  • Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley, O/N at Hotel with BB Basis.
    You will meet your trekking guide, discuss the trekking program and coordinate any last-minute arrangements. After/before briefing, with our professional tour guide we visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swaymbhunath and Patan Durbar Square. Rest of the time you can use for travelling around Thamel and buying needed equipment and other necessaries.
  • Day 03: Driving from Kathmandu to Beni, 8/9 Hrs, O/N at Hotel with BLD Basis.
    After Breakfast, Eight/ Nine hours scenic drive through Prithvi highway to Beni from Kathmandu.
  • Day 04: Drive to Durbang and trek to Dharapani, 6/7 Hrs, O/N at Tented Camp with BLD Basis.
    Today, after breakfast you will start drive to Durbang from Beni. Its all the way is inpaved road. It will take 3/4 Hrs. After lunch in Durbang you will trek futher to Dharapani one of the typical beautiful village of yout trekking trial which will take 2/3 hours from Durbang.
  • Day 05:Trek to Lamsung(1,850m), 4/5 Hrs, O/N at Tented Camp with BLD Basis.
    Today, First part you will have gentle up way walking. The walk is in the shade of beautiful forest of conifers then very beautiful path dominating a deep canyon where magdi Khola with Dharapani, panorama and Dhaulagiri rund. The field are cultiveted in terraces and planted rice, millet, Black corn, mustard from the mosques one of the fantastic colours.
  • Day 06: Trek to Jalja-La(2,660m), 4/5 Hrs, O/N at Tented Camp with BLD Basis.
    Today, The trek is starting from up way walking. The trek is along the side mountain through the cultures and small villages by foot to join Dhara Khola. After two and half hours walk you will have lunch at the edge riverup to maraini(2550m). After enjoying the lunch, you will have 2/3 hours very good walk through the beautiful forest with the view of himalayas. The Camp will be at edge of forest with a superb point of view on the solid mass of Dhaulagiri.
  • Day 07: Exploration day in Jaljala, O/N at Tented Camp with BLD Basis.
    Today is your exploration day of your trek. Early Morning you will have wonderful scenery view of Himalayas including Giant Mountain Dhaulagiri(8,167m), Annapurna(8,091m) along with a maze of other peaks as Churen, Gurja, Putha, Annapurna massif, Fishtain, Himchuli etc together with sunrise from the viewpoint edge of forest, there gradually appear just like magic that your eye could not believe. During Day time visit around over there.
  • Day 08: Trek to Dhorpatan(2,860 m), 5/6 Hrs, O/N at Tented Camp with BLD Basis.
    Today, After Breakfast you head to Dhorpatan Valley start with easy walking. Today all the way is straight flat. Its easy walking but little long day. You will walk through wonderful forest and Grazeland.
  • Day 09: Exploration day around Dhorpatan Valley, O/N at Tented Camp with BLD Basis.
    Today is your Exploration day around Dhorpatan Valley. You will visit the local village of Kham magar and Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve is only one of the Hunting Reserve of Nepal where allow legal sport trophy hunting. Dhorpatan Valley is very nice valley.
  • Day 10: Trek to Bobang(1,730m) and Drive to Burtibang(1130m), 5/6 Hrs, O/N at Tented Camp with BLD Basis.
    Today, It's the last day of your Hiking. After breakfast you start with easy descend walking to Bobang. After enjoy the lunch in Bobang you will drive to Burtibang from where you will take bus to Kathmandu. Evening you will have last dinner with Staff.
  • Day 11: Drive to Pokhara, O/N at Hotel with BB Basis.
    Today, After Breakfast you will drive to Pokhara. Its 160 Km. Most of the way is stone paved.
  • Day 12: Sight Seeing Around Pokhara, O/N at Hotel with BB Basis.
    After Breakfast you will have few hour sight seeing around Pokhara. After Lunch its time to Relax after long Trekking.
  • Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu, O/N at Hotel with BB Basis.
    Today, after breakfast you will drive or fly back to Kathmandu and Evening its time to buy soviniours or time for shopping.
  • Day 14: Final Derparture, Fly back to your country.

What type of shape do I need for this Trip?
Dhaulagiri Round trek is a suitable trek for all kind of people who are moderately fit, not any previous adventures experience is required. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming and walking are recommended before your Dhaulagiri Round trekking. Persons suffering from a pre-existing medical condition must seek medical advice/consent before considering the trek. Whilst on the trek, it is common to experience some discomfort before being fully acclimatized.

Will somebody come to pick me up at the Airport upon my arrival?

Yes, Global Holidays Adventure representative will be there to greet you outside of Terminal Hall, he/she will be displaying an Global Holidays Adventure name with your name on it. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Entry Visa fees - at present $25 for 15 day, US$ 40 for 30 day, and US$ 100 for three month visa on entry into Nepal. You take take Visa after landing Nepal in Tribhuwan International Airport.

What sort of accommodation can I expect in Kathmandu, and in trekking?

In Kathmand here are all kind of Hotel Simple hotel to 5* hotel. Its depends on your demand but normally in our trekking package We use standard rooms from three/four star hotels in Kathmandu with included breakfast.

During the trekking
, You will have teahouses/Lodges generally provide basic clean facilities with a mattress and a quilt or blanket. We can also offer you Global Holidays Sleeping bags if needed (which need to return after the trip) but it is good idea to always have your own sleeping equipment. We usually provide single and double rooms as well as the occasional dormitory. The dining room is downstairs around a fire. All food will be cooked to order in the little kitchen. You should not enter the kitchen unless asked to do so.

Toilet Facilities -
On trek, common toilet facilities are available at Tea Houses.

What kind of food can I expect in trekking?

In Dhaulagiri area, Most of Teahouse’s cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian fare. Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season) and even some desserts like apple pies, pancakes, and some interesting attempts at custard. You will find a lot of garlic on the menu because it assists with acclimatization – eat some every day. In many larger villages you may find some meat on the menu. You can always get hot chocolate, tea, and hot lemon drinks, as well as soft drinks, and treats like chocolate and crisps. Each day dinner and breakfast are used to take in the same lodge you spend the night. Lunch will be taken on the way to destination.

What sort of transportation I use?

Global holidays Adventure is all about providing you with local insights as well as adventure, with that in mind, where we think you will get more out of your holiday by using a different means of transport that is what we do. Using a variety of private transport is an integral part of our Himalaya tours and enhances the experience!
We use private tourist vehicles for sightseeing, city tours and pickups. Depending on the group size we use cars, minibus, van or land cruiser. These small light vehicles are more manoeuvrable and flexible enabling us to take you through the Narrow roads of Nepal. All the vehicles are usually air-conditioned unless we are travelling in cooler areas.

What is the best season for this trekking?

The best time for Dhaulagiri Round trek is October to mid December and mid February to mid June. It is not very good trekking during the monsoon season from June to August except treks in the Himalayan rain shadow like Upper Mustang and Kailash.

What is the weather & temperature like in trekking?

Weather in the mountains is notoriously difficult to predict. At night it is generally cooler the days are enerally warm. Winter (January and February) will be bit colder but the days can be quite beautiful and warm if the sun is out. There will be bit of snow during the month of January, February and December. It is also important to make sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any conditions. Expect the unexpected! The temperature could be as high as 20 deg C to -15 deg C low.

Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?
These facilities will be available in most of the places in your hotel reception by paying some service charges. Remember to bring your adapters!

Is there any communication while we are on trekking?

There are telephones in some villages along the trekking routes from which you can make international calls. Some place there is also internet access which you can use by paying some charges.

Can I use credit cards in the places visit in trekking?

In Kathmandu you can use your credit/Master Card. During the Trekking you need cash you cannot use your credit card.


How much additional money do I need per day?

In Kathmandu, you can allocate US$ 08 - 10 for a lunch / dinner. It’s all depends on your spending habits. US$10 to 20 US$ a day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates and few drinks in trekking.

Do I need to tip my guide and porters? How much would that be?

This is a difficult thing to tell. Its up to you from your heart by looking their work and support. Tipping is not required, but a small way to show your guides and local porters thanks for their help. The level of the tip should reflect the level of personal involvement with your guide.


Is the water OK to drink? Do I need to bring purifying tablets/filter?
In most places bottled water is readily available. If you wish to drink normal water, you need to use purifying aid, which you will need to bring with you.

What essential documents do I need to bring with me on tour?

Can I add extra days to my trekking trip?
A trekking holiday should never be about making it to the final point quickly. Along your trek we can add days at your request with additional costs to cover guides, porters, accommodation and food.

Do you use yaks/porters on the trek or do we carry all of our own gear?
Whilst on the trek, our porter will take care of your luggage. All you need to carry is your small day bag for your personal belongings like camera, water bottle, sun cream etc only.

What opportunities will I have for shower along the trek?

Yes, we arrange guesthouse with hot shower but some Place there is not hot shower, we will provide hot water in bucket for shower.
