Kathmandu Pokhara tour is probably the best tour in Nepal. After visit the Kathmandu you will drive to the Second face of the Nepal is Pokhara City which is one of the most picturesque sport of Nepal. Pokhara is most beautiful with surrounding mountain views in the north side, clean and wide lakes in the middle of the city, green forest, friendly and warm locals make your holidays more meaningful. Pokhara is the only place in the world from where one can enjoy the magnificent view of Himalayas having elevation above 8000m while sitting below 1000m above sea level. The major attraction of Pokhara are Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, Barahi Temple, Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda and Sarangkot (View point of magnificent Himalayas and Sunrise also starting point of Paragliding). Accommodations

All accommodations for Kathmandu and Pokhara tour are twin sharing basis including in the tour cost and chosen based on stander service, food and Location etc. You will spend 3 star hotel or similar category in Kathmandu and Pokhara during yor tour. Mostly the buffet style breakfast will be provided in the hotel.

Mostly the buffet style breakfast will be provided in the hotel. For the lunch and dinner you can go to the best restaurants of the city with the different authentic cuisine.

However it is unlikely that the itinerary would be changed. If the cases alternative itinerary is needed the leader (Guide) will decide what is the best alternative itinerary for the whole group.   • Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu.
    Welcome to Himalayan country of Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport Global Holidays Adventure representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, evening you'll meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and briefing about your trip. Overnight at Hotel (Breakfast Included).
  • Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing.
    Today after breakfast you will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' Swayambunath and Buddhists shrine of Bouddhanath which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Overnight at Hotel (Breakfast Included).
  • Day 03: Morning Mountain Flight and day Kathmandu Sightseeing.
    Early morning you will transfer to Airport for Mt. Flight. on one hours flight you can see magnificent view of Himalayas including Mt. Everest and others so many himalayas. During Day time you will visit most cultural and historical part of Nepal Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at Hotel (Breakfast Included).
  • Day 04: Drive or Fly to Pokhara.
    After breakfast at hotel you will drive or Fly to Pokhara. By driving it take 6 to 7 hours and by flight it take 45 minutes. Rest of the time you will visit Phewa lake and boating around there. Overnight at Hotel (Breakfast Included).
  • Day 05: Morning Visit Sarangkot and day Pokhara Sightseeing.
    Today is most important day of you tour because you are going to Sarangkot, a major view point to see the himalayas. Early morning you will drive to Sarangkot to view the magnificent view of the Annapurna range, Machhepuchhera, Himchuli, Manaslu and others. After spending couple of hours in Sarangkot you will back to Hotel for Breakfast. After sometime rest you will have sight seeing around Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel (Breakfast Included).
  • Day 06: Extra day In Pokhara.
    After breakfast you will have few hour sight seeing around Pokhara then its time to explore Pokhara city by yourself to buy some soviniours. Overnight at Hotel (Breakfast Included).
  • Day 07: Drive or Fly Back to Kathmandu.
    Today, after breakfast you will drive or fly back to Kathmandu and Evening its time to buy soviniours or time for shopping. Overnight at Hotel (Breakfast Included).
  • Day 08: Final Derparture, Fly back to your country.

Q. What type of shape do I need to be in, is this trip for me?
A. This trip is suitable for any kind of people from child to Old people. Not any pre- experience is necessary.

Q. Will somebody come to pick me up at the Airport upon my arrival?
A. Yes, our Airport Representative will be there to greet you outside of Terminal Hall, he/she will be displaying an Global Holidays Adventure sign with your name on it. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

 

Q. What sort of accommodation can I expect in this tour?
A. Here are so many different catagories hotel. Its up your demand. In our package ,We provide two or three star hotel accommodation for entire trip. The hotels have all the facilities of 24 hours hot and cold-water, attached bathrooms, dining rooms, bar, internet facilities, etc.

Q. What sort of food can I expect in the tour?
A. All the restaurants that we dine at cater for Continental, Chinese, Mexican, American based cuisine with some local influences, always plenty to choose from.

Q. What sort of transportation you use?
A. Depending on the group size we use Private cars, minibus, van, land cruiser. These small light vehicles are more maneuverable and flexible enabling us to take you through the Narrow roads of Nepal.

Q. What is the best season for this trip?
A. Any time between Octobers to Sep.

Q. What is the weather & temperature like?
A. It is all depending on what time of year you are traveling; during winter (Mid December to February), it gets colder at night and warmer during the day. The temperature could be as high as 22 deg C during day and 4 deg C low early in the morning and at night.

From March to May it is warm and sometimes a bit hot and weather stay perfect. The average temperature during this time of year is 25 deg C.

During the months of September to early December it is always warmer providing the perfect time to travel. The average temperature during this time of year is 20 deg C.

You will be in air-conditioned vehicles during the tour and all hotels are fully air conditioned.

Q. Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?
A. Yes, of course but remember to bring your adapters!

Q. Is there any communication while we are on tour?
A. There are telephones and internet facilities available so you can always stay in contract with your family.

Q. Can I use credit cards and ATM in the places visit?
A. ATM are available in Kathmandu and Pokhara, major credit cards are accepted in all places but you need to pay 4% extra as bank levy so cash is always recommend.

Q. How much additional money do I need per day?
A. It all depends on your spending habits for Lunch, Dinner, Drink and Bar Expenses.

Q. Do I need to tip my guide and driver? How much would that be?
A. Tips are always expected, it is good to tip your tour staff at the end of tour.

Q. Is the water OK to drink? Do I need to bring purifying tablets/filter?
A. Bottled water is available in all the places.Bottled water is safe for drinking. You don't need to carry any purifying tablets.

Q. What essential documents do I need to bring with me on tour?
A. *Valid Passport – must be valid for up to 6 months after you return from your tour, keep a separate photocopy.

  • Travel insurance, keep a separate photocopy

  • Cash and Traveller’s Cheques, keep numbers and proof of purchase separate

  • Flight tickets

  • Emergency contact numbers for T/C’s, banks, insurance, family contacts.


Q. Can I add extra days to my trip?
A. A holiday should never be about making it to the final point quickly. Along your tour we can add days at your request with additional costs to cover guides, Hotel and Transportation.

Q. What immunizations will I need?
A. No vaccinations are compulsory in Himalaya, but we do recommend you are covered for *diphtheria & TB, hepatitis A, *hepatitis B, *malaria, typhoid, polio and tetanus.

We also recommend:

  • A dental check-up prior to travelling.
  • That you know your blood group in case of emergency.

That if you have any pre-existing medical conditions which might affect you on tour, you make these known to your tour leader and Global Holidays Adventure at the time of your booking.
