Day
1
Arrive at Paro Airport and then drive to the capital city Thimpu. (1 hour 30 minutes drive) (2320m/7656ft.)

A scenic flight to Paro Airport, in a clear weather you will be amazed to see the highest peak of the world, Mt. Everest. Global Holidays Adventure representative will receive you in the Airport terminal. From there enjoying various sight-seeing places, we drive to the capital city of Thimpu.

Thimpu Sight-seeing tour.

After our early breakfast, we get ready for the full day sightseeing tour. We visit Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Sanctuary, Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum, and Heritage Museum, Traditional School of arts & crafts and Tashicho Dzong. Upon available time, you will also visit Zangdopelri temple, paper factory and other sights.

Thimphu-Punakha-Wangdue sightseeing tour.

Drive to Punakha and visit the Punakha dzong, the second oldest in bhutan built in 1637. We will also visit Chime Lhakhang. During the drive we can enjoy the scenic mountain views from the vantage points at high pass. We also visit local markets in Wangdue which is popular for wood carving products and handycrafts.

Drive Punakha to Paro.

Today you will drive back to Thimphu and you walk around the Hontsho village where The Tibetan refugees are living then continue the drive to Paro.

Paro Sighteeting - Tiger's Nest Monastery.

After an early breakfast, we visit the popular Taktshang Monastery (Tiger Monastery), century old cultural icon of Bhutan. From there, we visit to Farmhouse to experience the traditional living styles of the Bhutanese people. The visit to museums and street markets of Paro are other attractions of this day.

Paro – Departure.

The trip is over; our representatives will drop you to Airport for your flight to onward destinations.

- CASH: Bhutan's currency is the Ngultrum (BTN). Ensure you have enough cash, as credit cards may not be widely accepted.
- ATTIRE: Bhutanese culture values modesty, so it's recommended to dress modestly & respectfully, especially when visiting religious sites. Long pants or skirts and covered shoulders are advisable.
