Almost three quarters of the park is covered with forest, grassland and riverine forest. The park is established in order to protect and conserve the ecosystem and conserving the habitat of tiger and its prey. Compared to any other national parks the chances of seeing tigers are high in Bardiya national park.

Home to 83 numbers of tigers, 53 spices of mammal, 25 species of reptile and 121 spices of fish and the river area of Karnali River and Ghaghara River area are true paradise for Birdwatchers and attracts many wintering feathered friend.

Going on open jeep safari our tiger guides will take you to major hot spot termed as tinkune (three corners) Kingfisher, Tented camp and the Balcony. There are also several places o see the encounter the tigers where our guide will led and take you to the places.

Apart from this Bardiya National Park receives some of the world renowned celebrities around the world. Celebrities like Leonardo Dicaprio, Selena Gomez, Prince Harry, and Duke of Sussex had visited earlier.

Best season to see the Tigers:

The best time of the year is October to beginning December and in March to May. Whereas during monsoon seasons due to heavy rainfall we cannot track the tiger properly due to unexpected roads conditions and the thick bushes where all the wildlife including tigers stash away. Coming to winter season from late November to February due to thick fog view aren’t clear and floras and faunas are not visible but there is a high chances to tack the tiger if we start out tracking the wild cats on the beginning of October the perfect timing is during march to May where we could see clearly all floras and faunas.
