Overview
Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour in Nepal entails the visit to various Buddhist religious sites rejuvenating the spiritual and religious aspirations of Buddhism. The Buddhism history goes back to 536, when Lord Buddha was born in Lumbini. From then, Nepal has been a sacred place for meditation and spiritual exercise from various Buddhist monks and spiritual leaders.
Our tour start from the city of Kathmandu where we will visit two of the biggest stupas Boudhanath and Swayambhunath (Monkey temple). We will experience the Buddhist chants and other structures enrolled in prayer flags and prayers wheels. We also visit Pharping monastery where Padmasambha meditated, Kapan and Nomobuddha (It is believed that Buddha semche chenpo offered himself to feed the hungry tiger cubs in Namobuddha). From Kathmandu we head to the birth place of Lord Buddha, Lumbini. There are various ancient remainings including Ashoka Pillar, Maye Devi Temple, bathing pond etc.

1
Arrival at Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel.

You will be welcomed by our staff standing with your name-card in the airport arrival terminal and transferred to your hotel by the private vehicle. There will be a dinner program in one of the Nepalese restaurants with typical Nepalese cuisine. There will be a small meeting about the trip in the evening.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu: Swayambhunath and Pharping monastary.

We start our tour from the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. It is one of the ancient Stupas in Kathmandu. After visiting the Swayambhunath, we head towards the Pharping monastary.

Sightseeing Tour in Boudhhanath Stupa, Kapan Gumba and Namobuddha.

This day we visit to one of the biggest stupas, popular as Boudhnath Stupa. From there, we head to Kapan Monastery, here we can closely experience the daily lives of monks and nuns. After our lunch, we drive to Namobuddha in Dhulikhel and spend our night in Dhulikhel.

Fly to Lumbini, and sightseeing in Lumbini.

We drive to Airport from Dhulikhel and fly to Lumbini in 30 min flight. In evening time we can stroll around the Birth place of Lord Buddha.
