Overview

Tibet is situated on the Tibetan Plateau, north of the Himalayas, and is a part of China. The name "the roof of the world" refers to its lofty summit. Nepal and Tibet shares Everest. The capital, Lhasa, is home to the Jokhang Temple, Tibet's spiritual hub, which is adored by a golden figure of the young Buddha, and the mountaintop Potala Palace, which was previously the Dalai Lama's winter palace.

The purpose of the Kailash Manasarovar Overland Tour is to accommodate pilgrims and tourists of all kinds. In addition to having religious importance, the location is aesthetically pleasing. The commanding vista of Mt. Kailash and the azure Manasarovar Lake adorns the remoteness of the Tibetan region. A top-notch service is provided by Global Holidays Adventure to satisfy your spiritual needs. Starting from Kathmandu, you go in a private vehicle along the Rasuwagadi boarder and cross the Nepal-Tibet boarder.

Mt. Kailas and Manasarovar Lakes are holy destinations for four different religions Hindus, Jain, Buddhist and Bon. For Hindus, it is the place where Lord Shiva is perpetually stays with his wife Parvati. It is believed that all sins are cleansed on the pilgrimage tour to Manasarovar. In Jainism, Lake Manasarovar is associated with the first Tirthankara, Rishabha. For Buddhist and Bons, the place is where their great Gurus meditated.

If you tour to Mount Kailash during the month of May, it gives you the opportunity to experience Buddhist festival of Saga Dawa while most of the other trips are planned to arrive at Mt. Kailash during the full moon period to give all participants a rare experience. A journey you can truly call as once-in-a-lifetime.

When people visit these holy locations, they get a profound feeling of peace and quiet as well as a reminder of Lord Shiva's presence in their life. These holy sites are calm and incredibly beautiful, and they let people connect with Lord Shiva.

The pilgrimage around the summit, known as Kora in Tibetan culture and Parikrama in Hinduism, is an essential part of the trip to Mount Kailash. Devoted pilgrims may accomplish even the physically demanding route with proper preparation. The combination of amazing Tibetan culture and amazing landscapes filled with mountain is the highlight of the tour, apart from pilgrimage. Don’t forget the Nepal Pilgrimage tour, Festival Tour, Muktinath Tour, etc.
