Overview
This tour consist a short stay in the lap of Himalayas as village of Ghandruk, visit to many touristic sites of Kathmandu and Pokhara followed by exotic wildlife of national park of Chitwan. When at Kathmandu we will be visiting cultural and historical site dating back to medieval period of Nepal which is roughly at renaissance period of Europe.
We will be visiting many UNESCO heritage sites of Kathmandu. Boudhanath, a peaceful stupa filled with prayer flags as well as prayer wheels. The another well-known Monkey temple which is also a dorm and represents religious harmony in Nepal as it contains stupa of Buddhist people as well as temple for Hindu people. The place like durbar square where kings reside at their ruling period in Nepal. The rich culture as well as the carving on woods and stone shaped as animal and different arts representing power, purity and peace.
Once done with sightseeing we will visit another exotic destination Pokhara. Pokhara is much more peaceful, green and lively then Kathmandu. The amazing valley surrounded by mountain and hill is perfect getaway place for people of Nepal as well as tourist for good vacation. The place also records as source of inspiration of many writers. Apart from sightseeing tour Pokhara has lot to offer like various adventure activity like Bungee jump (one of the tallest place in Asia), many trail for mountain biking, zip flying, hot air balloon ride, shortest helicopter ride into mountains and ultra-flight consisting 1 pilot and 1 passenger. Beside all of this the place has many exotic restaurants and pubs with lively environment where you can enjoy some beers and buzz.
From Pokhara, we ascend to Ghandruk walking along beautiful forests, small settlements and amazing rivers and streams. The place unveils the fabulous sight of Machhapuchre (Fishtail), Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. In addition to that, the Ghandruk village is enriched with the local cultures and traditions. Majority of the inhabitants are Gurungs and Magars who are well known for their distinct attire and traditionally build houses. It is surprising that the place so close to the city lives has been able to preserve their unique culture, traditions and pristine lifestyles till date.

Day
1
Kathmandu Arrival.

We will be standing with PLA with your name written in it in order to welcome you at Kathmandu. We then will drop you to hotel by a private vehicle. Later we will brief you about the trip that you will be doing with us.

Pokhara Drive.

Today after breakfast we will start our trip to Pokhara. The six hour scenic drive to Pokhara on the roads will be good experience as you will be passing through villages and set insights in the rural life of Nepal. You can stop on any place you feel like as you will have a private vehicle. Our guides will definitely stop at few good viewpoints too.

Pokhara sight-seeing.

Today we will wake up early in the morning and watch amazing sunrise from best view point of Pokhara, Sarangkot. Watching amazing sunrise from the mountains will be amazing experience. After breakfast we will be visiting various caves, gorges of Seti River, Davis fall mountain museums and other places. Later during evening we will go to peace pagoda and enjoy the view of valley. You will see many people meditating as well as sitting in peace at peace pagoda located at the hilltop.

Ghandruk.

We will hop on private jeep and drive around 3.5 -- 4 hour in order reach the place called Ghandruk. Located at elevation of 2012m the place has amazing views of mountains. The amazing culture of the Gurungs, the small villages where every houses are made of stones. Upon reaching Ghandruk you will explore the village. Spending over night on lap of mountains will be good experience.

Drive to Chitwan.

Driving six hours will take you to Chitwan where you enjoy the safari encountering the many wildlife including birds and exotic animals lie one horned rhino, different breed of crocodile known as Gharial. However there is no guarantee that you will encounter tiger but we will put optimum effort on encountering Royal Bengal Tiger.

National Park Safari Day.

You will enjoy the private jeep safari inside the national park today. As stated, encountering the different species in the wild. The jungle walk will provide insights on birds and few animals whereas jeep safari has high chance of encountering tiger and obviously may other animals. Canoeing on Rapti River is wholesome experience as you will pass by many Gharialas floating on the water. Later during evening you will have a walk to the village of indigenous community of Tharu people and see their crafts as well.

Drive back Kathmandu.

Today we will drive back Kathmandu. You do have option to catch a flight from Chitwan. The 30 minutes flight will bring you back to Kathmandu whereas its 5 hour drive by road. Upon reaching on Kathmandu you can chill by the bars of Thamel, a tourist hub of Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Sightseeing.

You will be visiting the sites listed on World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The places like Boudha Stupa, Swyambhu AKA monkey Temple various durbar square and more. Later during evening you can do some shopping of some souvenirs.

What dining options are available?
Places like Kathmandu, Pokhara have different restaurants offering a diverse range of cuisines, including Asian, Tibetan, Western, Continental, Arabic, and more. Local delicacies such as momo, noodles, and dal bhat are prevalent, accompanied by a variety of street food choices. For an authentic taste of Kathmandu, exploring Newari foods is highly recommended. The Kathmandu Valley is dotted with numerous local eateries, and seeking recommendations from locals or your tour guide is encouraged. In Pokhara, the dining scene is similar to Kathmandu, and in certain places, you may find even better restaurant options than those in Kathmandu.
Chitwan do not have many restaurants however, hotel you stay offers different types of foods like momo, noodles, pizza, pasta etc. The hill station of Ghandruk focus on local foods items dal bhat (rice and lentil), different soups, patratha etc. and more.
How easy can I access use my credit card and ATMs?
You can always use your credit card however, 4% charge is taken by bank itself. ATMs are readily available as these both are fast growing city of Nepal. Places like Kathmandu and Pokhara where both cards can be access easily. However, it’s easy to have some cash with you while exploring Ghandruk.
What is best season and duration for this trip?
The actual best season are October to December followed by March to May. However monsoon has its own beauty. You can always choose which season you want to visit depending on time. We assure you to provide best service possible.

Unforgettable 8 Days around Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan
I've just returned from the trip of a lifetime and can't thank Surya at Global Holidays Adventure enough for making it a reality. Surya organized an incredible 8 day trip for me and my 5 friends which included a beautiful stay in and outside Kathmandu, a wellness retreat, Everest mountain flight, overnight trek in Kaski, visit to Pokhara, and safari in Chitwan. No detail was overlooked and the week went very smoothly, including all car and air transportation. I felt we received incredible value for our money and experienced some of the best Nepal has to offer. Surya was delightful to work with and was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns.

Excellent Tour Company in Nepal
Global Holidays had organized our 10 day tour in Nepal in November for 23 people. The company handled all the tour arrangements magnificently and sent two of the partners with us on our trip to ensure everything run smoothly. TitleIncredible trip !
My friend Sivani and Pranav asked me to join a holiday in Nepal with them for a week. I was bit excited because it was my first time in Nepal. According to Shivani I contact to Surya and sent my documents to confirm trip. He helped us to fill up online visa form which make us easy when we reached Kathmandu airport. We did Everest mountain flight which was life experiences, we visited Kathmandu, Pokhara, one in Ghandruk Village and Chitwan. We were little worried about the election in Nepal which was during our visit. Surya went himself with us during the trip as a guide, he was very professional and serious to handle the problems when we get stuck. He is very responsible person. We are very grateful to Mr Samsher and his team for putting tougher a wonderful trip and memorable holidays to my family this may. I decided to go Nepal was pretty last minute but Samsher guidance me to make us a good itinerary with all of the experiences we were looking for. We did Mt Everest flight from Kathmandu which was really surprise for my kids. Our trip included Kathmandu, Pohara tour with a small trekking to Ghandruk where we stay one night in a local tea house. It was a perfect balance of activities during our trip. The whole trip was smooth, thanks to Global Holidays Adventure and our excellent guide Mr Kiren. We were stress free and fully enjoy the trip.
