Kathmandu which is popular as the city of temple and living Goddess is the capital of Nepal. Kathmandu is a perfect for travelers to experience the blend of modern influence with the ancient cultural heritages still intact in its original form. Amidst the sophisticated building and other structures calmly nestle the various UNESCO World heritage sites boasting its glorious artistic past. The city is inhabited by various ethnic communities with majority of Newars who are popular for their distinct attires, exquisite foods and various festivals. Don’t forget to taste the mo:mos when you are in Kathmandu. Moreover, an hour mountain flight commencing from Kathmandu provides spectacular view of all the peaks of the Himalayas including the Everest.

We visit the ancient Durbar squares in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. The former palaces are decorated with centuries old stone and wood sculptures and pagoda style temples in almost every corner. The travelers get opportunity to see two of the biggest Buddhist Stupas in the world: Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and the Bauddhanath Stupa. Apart from those sites, visit to the holy temple of Lord Shiva provides an opportunity to closely encounter the Hindu rituals including the cremation along the Bagmati River. A walk in the narrow streets of Thamel and Basantapur provides an insight to the commercial activities of the local communities.

Arrival at Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel,
You will be welcomed by our staff standing with your name-card in the airport arrival terminal and transferred to your hotel by the private vehicle. There will be a dinner program in one of the Nepalese restaurants with typical Nepalese cuisine. There will be a small meeting about the trip in the evening.

Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing,
Today after breakfast you will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' Swayambunath and Buddhists shrine of Bouddhanath which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Along with it you will visit the miedeval palaces of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, these palaces are rich in stone and wood sculptures glorifying the rich artistic history of ancient Nepal.

Yes, Global Holidays Adventure representative will be there to greet you outside of Terminal Hall. He will be displaying Global Holidays Adventure name card with your name on it. After that you will be transferred to pre-chosen Hotel.

You can get the visa at Tribhuwan International Airport after landing, furthermore it will be easier if you fill up the visa form by online (http://online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa) before taking the flight to Nepal. Entry Visa fees- at present is $ 25 for 15 day, $ 40 for 30 days and $ 100 for three month visa on entry to Nepal.

You should bring following essential documents in the trip:

  • Valid Passport: must be valid for up to 6 months.
  • Travel insurance: you need to provide a copy of insurance paper to Global Holidays Adventure before you start the trek.
  • Flight Tickets.
  • Emergency contact numbers for T/C's bank, insurance, family contacts.


Here are so many different catagories hotel. Its up your demand. In our itinerary, We provide three star hotel accommodation for entire trip. The hotels have all the facilities of 24 hours hot and cold-water, attached bathrooms, dining rooms, bar, internet facilities, etc.


Normally breakfast will be served in Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Pokhara and Lumbini. All cities you can get the restaurants for Continental, Chinese, Mexican, American based cuisine with some local influences, always plenty to choose from.


Depending on the group size we use Private cars, minibus, van, land cruiser. These small light vehicles are more maneuverable and flexible enabling us to take you through the Narrow roads of Nepal.


Spring (March to May) and Autumn (Sept. to Dec.) are the best seasons for this trip when the weather is clear and pleasant. However, if one wishes to avoid crowd and enjoy nature then this trip is favorable during the winters (Jan to Feb) as well.


It is all depending on what time of year you are traveling; during winter (Mid December to February), it gets colder at night and warmer during the day. The temperature could be as high as 22 deg C during day and 4 deg C low early in the morning and at night.

From March to May it is warm and sometimes a bit hot and weather stay perfect. The average temperature during this time of year is 25 deg C.

During the months of September to early December it is always warmer providing the perfect time to travel. The average temperature during this time of year is 20 deg C.

You will be in air-conditioned vehicles during the tour and all hotels are fully air conditioned.

ATM are available in Kathmandu and Pokhara, major credit cards are accepted in all places but you need to pay 4% extra as bank levy so cash is always recommend.

Tips are always expected, it is good to tip your tour staff at the end of tour.


Bottled water is available in all the places. Bottled water is safe for drinking. You don't need to carry any purifying tablets.
