The city is inhabited by various ethnic communities with majority of Newars who are popular for their distinct attires, exquisite foods and various festivals. Don’t forget to taste the mo:mos when you are in Kathmandu. Moreover, an hour mountain flight commencing from Kathmandu provides spectacular view of all the peaks of the Himalayas including the Everest.
We visit the ancient Durbar squares in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. The former palaces are decorated with centuries old stone and wood sculptures and pagoda style temples in almost every corner. The travelers get opportunity to see two of the biggest Buddhist Stupas in the world: Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and the Boudhanath Stupa. Apart from those sites, visit to the holy temple of Lord Shiva provides an opportunity to closely encounter the Hindu rituals including the cremation along the Bagmati River. A walk in the narrow streets of Thamel and Basantapur provides an insight to the commercial activities of the local communities.

1
Arrival at Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel.

You will be welcomed by our staff standing with your name-card in the airport arrival terminal and transferred to your hotel by the private vehicle. There will be a dinner program in one of the Nepalese restaurants with typical Nepalese cuisine. There will be a small meeting about the trip in the evening.

Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing.

Today after breakfast you will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' Swayambhunath and Buddhists shrine of Boudhanath which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Along with it you will visit the miedeval palaces of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, these palaces are rich in stone and wood sculptures glorifying the rich artistic history of ancient Nepal

Will someone pick me up upon my arrival on Kathmandu?
Yes, one of the representative of Global holidays adventure will meet you at the airport. S/he will be holding a PLA card with your name written in it. He will take you to your hotel once you meet him.
Is there pick up and drop available?
Yes, a private vehicle with our guide will pick you from your hotel.
What kind of people this trip is recommended for?
This kind of tour can be done by anyone from children to family to couples. Actually the trip is recommended for people who are interested in architecture, culture, carvings and art. The trip is not recommended for people with mobility impairment and pregnant women.
Is entrance fee required?
Yes, the price vary depending on a place we visit, the fees is directly deposited in counter itself by the guest but all the hassle is taken care by our guide.
What should we carry?
