Overview

One of the holiest sites on earth for one of the largest religions, it is situated in the Rupandehi area and continues to be one of the most significant pieces of evidence for Buddhism. One of the most valued pilgrimage sites for Buddhists, the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautam, later known as Buddha, is a popular destination for both Buddhists and non-Buddhists due to archeological proof of Lord Buddha.

Additionally, UNESCO has recognized the location as a world heritage site. There are several additional stupas and monasteries there. A must-see is the museum, which has a variety of items from several dynasties that previously controlled Lumbini, such as metal sculptures, coins, and stamps. It is thought that Buddha was once a prince. Some significant proof of Buddha may also be found in the Mayadevi temple, which is also referred to be the birthplace of the Buddha.

This tailored full-day Lumbini tour allows tourists to visit some of the must-see attractions, such as the Mayadevi Temple (Buddha's birthplace), Ashoka Pillar, Pushkarni Pond, Bodhi Tree, Peace Garden, Peace Flame, and monasteries built by various communities and countries. This trip would be appropriate for people of all ages and religions.
